Olga Ahtinen makes immediate impact on return from injury for Tottenham Women in win over Sheffield United Women. Eveliina Summanen has been out of action since 26 November and was one of two key players to make her return from injury, featuring as a centre-back alongside Molly Bartrip before being replaced on 45 minutes, but it was her international teammate Olga Ahtinen who made the biggest impact on her return to the first-team fold. The 27-year-old arrived from West Ham United in July 2022 having spent two seasons with the east London side, but endured a difficult first season in blue due to injury. She managed five appearances in all competitions and scored her first goal for the club in an 8-0 UEFA Women’s Champions League victory over Albanian side Vllaznia in October 2022. In February, it was confirmed the Czech international had undergone knee surgery which ruled her out for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.
