200 caps for Swedish captain Asllani
- On 4th July, Kosovare Asllani makes her 200th appearance for Sweden during the Euro 2025 opener against Denmark, becoming one of only three women—alongside Caroline Seger (240 caps) and Therese Sjögran (214)—to reach this milestone.
- For the Swedish captain, this is her fifth and, according to her, last European Championship. Last season, she transferred from AC Milan to the second-tier London City Lionesses and, as team captain, helped them reach the top flight.
