Another toffee in the town. Everton sign Maz Pacheco
Everton's expansion continues. The club has big ambitions for the upcoming season. Not only will it play at its main stadium, but it has also signed its eighth summer reinforcement.
- Everton have signed 26-year-old full-back Pacheco on a free transfer following the expiration of her contract with Aston Villa, marking the club’s eighth signing of the summer.
- Pacheco made 90 appearances for Aston Villa since 2021 and previously played for Liverpool, Doncaster Rovers Belles, Reading, and West Ham.
- Born in Ormskirk, Pacheco expressed excitement about “coming back home” to Everton, being close to family (she previously started her career in Merseyside), and playing at Goodison Park - which is new for women's team from the upcoming 2025/26 season.
