Barcelona's Ewa Pajor may have torn her ACL
Last season's Liga F top scorer Ewa Pajor left the court early on Sunday. It could be an ACL injury.
- The Polish star and recent winner of the Gerda Müller Award may not be seen on the pitch for some time.
- On Sunday Octuber 12, in Barcelona's match against Atlético Madrid, she increased the score to 3-0 (the final score was 6-0), but had to be substituted in the 71st minute. Early reports are saying she ruptured her ACL.
- Last season, Pajor scored 25 goals in 28 games. So far this season, she has scored 6 goals in seven games.
- If the ACL injury is confirmed, Pajor could be out for the rest of the season. This is particularly unfortunate because of the Champions League, which is the only trophy missing from Pajor's collection.
