Bayern kicked off the new season with a win in the SuperCup
Bayern Munchen opened their season with a statement — defeating Wolfsburg 4–2 in Karlsruhe to retain the Google Pixel Supercup. It´s a first success under new coach José Barcala, pointing to the win as a perfect omen for the road ahead. The team now shifts focus to a record-crowd Bundesliga opener against Leverkusen at the Allianz Arena next week.
- FC Bayern Women lifted their first trophy of the 2025/26 season, defeating VfL Wolfsburg 4–2 in the Google Pixel Supercup held in Karlsruhe on 30 August 2025. The win secured their second consecutive Supercup title.
- Magdalena Eriksson opened the scoring with a powerful strike in the 18th minute. Jovana Damnjanović doubled the lead soon after. Wolfsburg’s Vivien Endemann pulled one back early in the second half. Lea Schüller added a third via a volley. Georgia Stanway sealed the 4–2 victory with a converted penalty.
