Bayern Munich Eyeing €7.5 Million Stadium Buy-out to boost Women’s Team
FC Bayern Munich Frauen are reportedly engaged in “advanced talks” to acquire the Sportpark Unterhaching (capacity ~15,000) for around €7.5 million.
- The move comes as their current match-venue, the FC Bayern Campus, accommodates only ~2,500 spectators — making it one of the smallest among Women’s Champions League clubs. Despite the fact that Bayern in ruling the Frauen Bundesliga.
- The proposed stadium is located in Unterhaching, near Munich, and provides improved capacity and transport links compared to their current site.
