Champions again! North Korea defend their U17 Championship title
North Korea clinched the title of the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, defeating the Netherlands in the final to successfully defend their crown. They are now the most successful team in U17 Women's World Cup history.
- The tournament was hosted in Morocco from 17 October to 8 November 2025, marking the first time the U-17 Women’s World Cup was held in Africa.
- This victory adds to North Korea’s growing dominance at youth women’s level, strengthening their position as a powerhouse in the age-group competitions.
- The Netherlands reached the final for the first time in this competition, making their appearance a milestone despite falling short in the decider. North Korea won 3:0.
