FC Bayern Women break Bundesliga ticket sales record
Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have reached another milestone. They will kick off the season on September 6 at the Allianz Arena against Leverkusen, and it is already clear that the large stadium is attracting audiences. A record number of tickets have already been sold for the match.
- FC Bayern Women have set a new Frauen-Bundesliga record by selling over 40,000 tickets for their upcoming match—surpassing the previous high of over 38,000 set by 1. FC Köln and Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2022–23 season.
- The record-breaking fixture is scheduled for September 6, a Bundesliga opener against Bayer Leverkusen at the Allianz Arena, where Bayern will debut their head coach José Barcala.
- Barcala expressed excitement: "An incredible atmosphere and a record crowd await us. It’s going to be special," marking high anticipation for his first game in charge.
