Ffion Morgan joins the Hammers
A Wales international who caught attention during the recently concluded Euros is heading to the WSL. Starting from the new season, which kicks off on September 5, she will wear the number 23 shirt for West Ham.
- West Ham United Women have secured Wales international Ffion Morgan on a two‑year contract, and she will wear the No. 23 shirt starting the 2025/26 season.
- Morgan, who previously played as a right-back, has transitioned into an attacker known for her pace, energy and creativity, and thrives on being given the freedom to express herself on the pitch.
- A product of Bristol City (2021-25), Morgan made 89 appearances, scored 15 goals, and earned the Supporters’ Player of the Year award in the 2024–25 season.
- West Ham coach Rehanne Skinner worked with Morgan in Wales’ youth system—making their reunion in east London both familiar and strategic.
- Morgan scored a crucial late goal against Slovakia in the Euro 2025 play-off semi-final, helping Wales secure qualification to their first major finals.
