- After the 6–1 win over Wales, substitutes Beth Mead and Aggie Beever-Jones celebrated by clicking their fingers while running along the bench. The gesture, dubbed a “positive click,” came from a WhatsApp group chat called “The Finishers”, started by Maya Le Tissier for the substitutes. Chloe Kelly explained it symbolizes readiness and unity among players coming off the bench.
- The squad remains connected to Euro 2022 through an old WhatsApp group that includes retired stars Mary Earps and Ellen White, who continue to offer encouragement.
