Is England the next destination for Felicia Schröder?
Although the reigning Damallsvenskan Player of the Year has just committed her future to Häcken, her performances have not gone unnoticed — with Manchester City reportedly monitoring the young Swede. And not only them.
- Felicia Schröder, 18-year-old forward at BK Häcken, is among Europe’s most sought-after young talents, with reports linking her to top clubs including Manchester City, Chelsea, Barcelona and others due to her impressive Damallsvenskan form.
- BK Häcken’s sporting director Martin Ericsson confirmed that multiple major European clubs have monitored Schröder closely this season, reflecting genuine interest because of her outstanding performances at club level.
- Despite this interest, Schröder chose to extend her contract with BK Häcken through 2028, signing a new four-year deal that makes her one of the best-paid players in the Damallsvenskan and keeps her in Sweden for now.
Her decision to stay at Häcken is driven by development priorities, with Schröder valuing regular playing time, strong coaching and personal growth before considering a future move abroad. For now, Schröder’s focus remains on the Europa Cup, with Häcken set to take on Eintracht Frankfurt in the semi-finals.
