Is Jenna Nighswonger leaving?
She joined Arsenal from NY Gotham last season. However, the transfer cannot be considered a success.
- The WSL winter transfer window opens on January 2. Several players, such as Stina Blackstenius and Kim Little, are coming to the end of their contracts at Arsenal.
- According to Tim Stillman, however, the main discussion about departures now revolves around young American defender Jenna Nighswonger.
- It's not entirely surprising. Nighswonger, who plays defense, has only appeared in two games and played a minimum number of minutes. In addition, young Swedish star Smilla Holmberg, who is also a defender, is likely to join the team.
- It is not yet known where Nighswonger will go and whether it will be a loan or a permanent transfer.
