Jonatan Giráldez leaves the Washington Spirit after less than a year for OL Lyonnes
- Washington Spirit announced that head coach Jonatan Giráldez will leave the club after less than a year in charge to take over at OL Lyonnes.
- Giráldez's last game with the Spirit will be on June 22 against the San Diego Wave in San Diego, with his final home game scheduled for Sunday, June 8, against the North Carolina Courage.
- Assistant coach Adrián González will assume the head coach role permanently.
