- José Barcala, a 43 years old spanish trainer, has been named the new head coach of FC Bayern Munich's women's team. He will assume the role on July 1, 2025, with a two years contract extending in 2027
- Barcala joins Bayern after a triumphant season with Swiss top-tier club Servette FC Chênois Féminin, where he secured both the league title and the Swiss Cup in 2024.
- His coaching career includes positions in Spain, France, Scotland, and Australia. Notably, he served as an assistant coach at Girondins Bordeaux and with the Scottish women's national team before leading Servette.
