Julie Blakstad is back in WSL. Norwergian heads to Tottenham
On January 4, the Norwegian announced that she would not be wearing the Hammarby jersey next season, having moved there from Manchester City. At that moment, it was clear that her return to England was on the horizon.
- Blakstad joined on a permanent contract after her Hammarby IF deal expired and will wear the number 41 shirt at Spurs.
- She has played for Manchester City (2022–2024) in the WSL, BK Häcken (loan), and Hammarby IF (2024–2025) before joining Spurs.
- During the 2025 Damallsvenskan season, Blakstad scored 15 goals and six assists from wide positions. She is known for her versatility across midfield, left-back, wing-back, and attacking roles
