Katie Reid suffered an ACL injury
Unfortunately, the ACL epidemic continues. Arsenal has just confirmed that it has also affected their young player.
- Katie Reid will undergo surgery in the coming days and is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
- The injury comes shortly after she withdrew from the England Women senior squad due to a groin-related problem.
- Reid signed her first professional contract with Arsenal in October 2024 and made significant progress during her development year. Now, after Leah Williamson's injury, she became strong part of the team's defence.
- Reid’s absence will open opportunities within the squad, but Arsenal emphasise they will support her full recovery in line with their medical and performance standards.
