Layla Drury commits her international future to England
England’s U20 squad has been announced, with Layla Drury named among the forwards. Drury previously represented Wales at U17 level.
- "Making this decision hasn't been easy. Representing Wales has been one of the best honours of my life..." Drury wrote on her Instagram that she had always felt supported within the squad and given the space to grow.
- According to Drury, the decision followed long discussions and deep reflection, and she is confident it is the right step for her future.
Drury, who plays for Manchester United, recently made headlines after scoring in the cup — a goal that made her the youngest goalscorer in the club’s history.
