- England goalkeeper Mary Earps announced on her Instagram page her retirement from international football with immediate effect, ahead of the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 tournament.
- Earps earned 53 caps over an eight-year span, playing a pivotal role in England's UEFA Women's Euro 2022 victory and their journey to the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup final.
- ,It's been the greatest honour and priviledge to wear this badge and represent my country,'said Earps in her Instagram post
