Norway advances to the quarterfinals undefeated, Iceland bids farewell with a 4:3 loss
- Norway secured a 4–3 victory over Iceland, completing an unbeaten group stage with a 9-point haul and earning top spot in Group A.
- Signe Gaupset, in her first tournament start, scored twice—at the 15th and 26th minutes—and set up both of Frida Maanum’s second-half goals, earning Player of the Match award.
- Iceland opened the scoring through Sveindís Jónsdóttir, and despite a commanding lead by Norway, they fought back with late goals by Hlín Eiríksdóttir (84’) and a penalty from the captain Glódís Viggósdóttir in stoppage time after Marit Bratberg Lund was sent off.
