Norwergian talent is heading to WSL
After her impressive performance at Euro, it was only a matter of time before young Norwegian star Signe Gaupset would leave SK Brann for greener pastures.
- Tottenham Hotspur Women have reached agreement to sign Norwegian international Signe Gaupset from SK Brann Kvinner, with the move set to take effect on 1 January 2026, subject to international clearance and a work permit.
- The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has agreed a long-term contract and will wear the number eight shirt for Spurs.
- Gaupset made her senior debut for Brann at age 16, helped them win the Norwegian Cup and multiple league honours, and was named Toppserien Player of the Year 2025 after a standout season.
- At the international level, she made her Norway senior team debut in February 2024 and starred at the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 with a brace against Iceland in the group stage.
