- The match at Hayes Lane was action-packed, with Matilda Vinberg giving Spurs an early lead before London City turned it around with goals from Danielle van de Donk, scoring just two minutes after attending the pitch, and Jana Fernández.
- In the shootout, the first 17 penalties were all scored before goalkeeper Lize Kop made the decisive save, denying Wassa Sangaré to clinch the 9–8 win for Spurs.
- Tottenham now face Chelsea in the Women’s FA Cup quarter-finals, continuing their cup campaign after this tense fifth-round victory.
