Serie A launches new HPV prevention campaign
The Serie A Women league and MSD Italia launched the “Blocca l’HPV con la vaccinazione” campaign — a multichannel communication initiative aimed at raising public awareness about preventing HPV-related cancers through vaccination, supported by the Italian Ministry of Health.
The initiative uses a powerful football metaphor: just as a goalkeeper blocks a ball to protect the goal, HPV vaccination “blocks” the virus, reducing the risk of developing potentially lethal HPV-related cancers in both men and women.
The campaign encourages people to consult medical providers, vaccination centers, or visit the official infoHPV website for information on HPV prevention, underlining the importance of vaccination and screening.
