Shock on the transfer day deadline. PSG's Captain Geyoro joins London City Lionesses
The final day of the transfer window brought one more surprise. Grace Geyoro, whose career until now had been tied exclusively to Paris Saint-Germain, is making the move to London City Lionesses. This is rumored to be another record-breaking signing.
- London City Lionesses signed French midfielder Grace Geyoro from Paris Saint-Germain in what is now a world-record deal valued at £1.43 million (€1.65 million / $1.65 million).
- Although PSG did not want to sell Geyoro, the 28-year-old expressed her openness to moving to the WSL this summer.
- Geyoro has spent her entire senior career at PSG after rising through their academy, tallying 250 appearances and 50 goals. During her time there, she finished as a Women’s Champions League runner-up twice, won one league title, and lifted three French Cups.
