The partnership with Nike and WSL will continue in the next season
Nike has committed to an unprecedented five-year sponsorship of England’s Women’s Super League and WSL2, offering free football boots to around 250 players who lack their own endorsement deals.
- Nike extended its sponsorship of the Women’s Super League (WSL) and WSL2 through a new five-year deal that goes well beyond traditional branding rights.
- Under the new agreement, Nike will provide free football boots to all players in the WSL and WSL2 who do not hold personal endorsement contracts with other boot manufacturers. Around 250 players—roughly half of all first-team squad members across both divisions—have already signed up.
- Nike will also supply goalkeeper gloves and match balls for the WSL, WSL2, and the Women’s League Cup, expanding its role beyond just footwear.
