The Euro 2025 hero Michelle Agyemang has suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament during the Lionesses 3-0 win over Australia, and her club Arsenal Women has confirmed she will miss the rest of the 2025/26 season as they begin planning her recovery alongside her loan club Brighton.
- Her home club Arsenal is working in close contact with her loan club, Brighton & Hove Albion, to determine a coordinated treatment and rehabilitation programme.
- The club confirmed the diagnosis and offered support as she begins her recovery journey.
- Agyemang took to social media to express disappointment but also resolve, stating: “Recovery starts now, I will be back stronger than before.”
