FC Utrecht Vrouwen is a Dutch women's football club based in Utrecht. Established in 2007, as one of the founding members of the professional Eredivisie. The team competed in the Eredivisie from its inaugural season of 2007/08 until 2011/12. The club rejoined the Eredivisie beginning in the 2023/24 season.

She studied physiotherapy and later started her own sports and relaxation massage business, Maxime’s Massages.

She was also part of the Dutch team that became the first Netherlands national youth side, boys or girls, to reach a World Cup final.

She did not start out as an attacker. In her early years she played as a goalkeeper and defender, and only moved up front after volunteering to fill in as a striker at a tournament and scoring straight away.

One of her most vivid childhood fan memories involves Jens Toornstra. She once wrote in her autograph book that he was “the best footballer in the world,” and he signed directly underneath it.
