Liga MX Women

Club de Fútbol Pachuca Femenil is a Mexican professional women's football club based in Pachuca, Hidalgo, that competes in Liga MX Femenil, the top women's division of Mexican football. Pachuca is also the only women's football team to have won every official women’s football competition in Mexico by winning the league, the Copa MX Femenil and the Campeón de Campeonas.

Dancing Tahitian hula was a big part of her childhood. She started competing at four and even competed in Tahiti.

She wrote the book Una vida con diabetes to give children with diabetes the kind of real-life reference she felt was missing when she was younger.

She grew up in Ajegunle, Lagos, and says street games with boys made her love football even more.

Before turning pro in Liga MX Femenil, she built her path through the U.S. college game at Eastern Florida State, Phoenix College, and West Florida.

She studied Pharmacy at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos.

She scored in the Clausura 2024 Liga MX Femenil Sub-19 final as Pachuca beat América and lifted the title at the Estadio Azteca.

She also played softball for five years growing up.

One of her most vivid childhood memories is playing with a toy kitchen and pretending to run a restaurant for her parents.

Her mother taught her to live every match with passion and had to find ways to fund tournaments and boots, including selling cut fruit and prepared snacks.

Kelly and her cousin Linda Caicedo followed a strikingly similar club path, winning the 2019 Colombian league with América de Cali and later the 2021 title with Deportivo Cali, growing a strong bond together.
