Barcelona's entry to UWCL: Humilation of German master
At the Johan Cruyff Stadium, FC Barcelona tore apart Bayern Munich in their UCL Group Stage opener, storming to a commanding 7:1 win. Alexia Putellas curled home the opener inside 4 minutes, followed by goals from Ewa Pajor, Esmee Brugts and Salma Paralluelo to take a 4–1 lead by half-time. In the second half, Pajor struck again before substitutes Clàudia Pina completed a brace, capping a ruthless performance. Bayern’s lone reply came in the first half from Klara Bühl, but they were overrun thereafter.
