September 2 marks the birthday of one of the most important players for the Lionesses and Manchester United, Ella Toone, whom everyone calls Tooney.
The 26-year-old English midfielder is ending a year in which she defended England's Euro title, fought her way into the Champions League with her beloved club, and got engaged. However, on the day of the Euro final, she lost her beloved grandmother and spoke about how she was affected by the death of her father, who had a major influence on her career.
