Malard with the two goals, first goal in red for Park, first assist for Rolfö
After losing 4-1 to Arsenal, London City Lionesses hosted their first home game in the WSL, where they suffered their second defeat. Manchester United took the lead early on when captain La Tissier converted a penalty.
The match was particularly memorable for Jess Park, who recently joined United from rivals City and scored her first goal for her new club. The assist came from another new signing, Fridolina Rolfö, who came on in the 80th minute and was playing her first game in her new jersey.
