Fany grew up in San José del Rosario, Paraguay, and said she started playing football with boys in her neighborhood when she was seven years old.

She joined Olimpia after attending a trial at age 15 and described that opportunity as the beginning of her football career.

Fany said she always dreamed of becoming a recognized football player.

One of her childhood football idols was Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Before football became her profession, she originally moved to Asunción with the goal of studying.

Her mother once encouraged her to leave football because there was little money in the women’s game at the time. Fany later said her family became proud of what she achieved through the sport.

Fany enjoys cooking Paraguayan food and has specifically mentioned making tortilla and chipa guazú for teammates abroad.

When discussing her playing style, she said she prefers simple football and usually tries to move the ball quickly rather than holding possession for too long.
