Layla Drury - remember that name!
Layla Drury became the youngest player to represent Manchester United Women when she made her senior debut on 18 January 2026, in a 5:0 win over Burnley in the Women’s FA Cup.
- She set the club record by debuting at 16 years and 220 days, surpassing Lauren James’ previous mark from 2018. She entered as a 66th-minute substitute, replacing Melvine Malard.
- Drury not only debuted but also scored her first senior goal late in the match, becoming the youngest goalscorer in the club’s history.
- Drury is a Manchester United academy graduate, having joined the club in November 2024.
