Spain celebrates Nations League gold thanks to Barcelona duo
Even without the injured Bonmatí, Spain managed to overcome their disappointment at losing the Euros and dominated the Nations League.
- The first leg, played in Kaiserslautern ended in a 0:0 draw, leaving the tie open until the decider. Spain defeated Germany 3:0 in the second leg of the final at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid. With the aggregate score, Spain retained the Nations League title.
- All three goals came in the final 30 minutes, turning a tight match into a clear Spanish triumph in front of the home crowd.
- Clàudia Pina scored twice — her first goal broke the deadlock, the second sealed the win.
- Vicky López added a brilliant solo strike between Pina’s goals, doubling the lead and shifting momentum firmly to Spain.
