She is naturally left-footed and has played both as a left-back and on the left side of midfield during her career.

Before becoming a professional footballer, she played futsal with Unifor, helping develop the technical skills that later transferred to the outdoor game.

She represented Brazil at two FIFA U-20 Women's World Cups, competing in the 2016 and 2018 editions.

Katrine earned her first senior Brazil call-up in 2021 after several seasons in the Brazilian top flight.

When joining Santos in 2026, she revealed that playing for the club had been a dream since childhood because she had once hoped to attend a Sereias da Vila trial but never got the opportunity.

Her professional career has included spells with Corinthians, Audax, Internacional, Grêmio, Minas Brasília, Palmeiras and Santos, giving her experience across many of Brazil's biggest women's clubs.
