Football was not her only serious sport growing up. She said cricket was actually her main sport until she was about 14 or 15, and that she played for Kent and for the Southeast Stars franchise before choosing football.

During a penalty shoot-out in the Euro 2025 quarterfinal vs England, she missed her penalty. She was visibly upset. Later she received widespread support, including from Zlatan Ibrahimović (club co-owner and Smilla's childhood hero) who sent her a message encouraging her not to be defined by that mistake.

She started playing football at the end of one of her gymnastics sessions. Her coach threw a ball out for a bit of fun, and all the girls just ran around after it.

Her father is a lifelong Spurs supporter. But when Leah won the Champions League final with Arsenal, he surprised her by wearing her jersey.

Her mom Amanda is her biggest inspiration and the person she looks up to the most.

She and her mum Amanda and her grandma Bernie are big Arsenal fans. Her dad David and younger brother Jacob are Tottenham supporters.

She is a lifelong Arsenal fan and has been playing for the club since the age of nine, when she joined the club's academy.

Daphne is really into jigsaw puzzle and lego. She owns some lego sets, such like globe.

In 2006, it was chosen as the mascot for the Arsenal men's team in a League Cup match at the Hawthorns Stadium against West Bromwich Albion. Although she was on holiday, her mother drove her the 690km round trip to ensure her dream came true. Her reward was a photograph with Theo Walcott.
