Heden started playing football in third grade and grew up playing with boys before moving through regional representative football and Res Roma.

Growing up in the Roma world, her favourite Roma player was Kostas Manolas — a perfect idol for a young centre-back.

Injuries slowed parts of her early career, but she framed those setbacks as experiences that made every comeback more meaningful.

Her national-team dream is bigger than a call-up: after captaining Italy U17 and moving through the youth teams, she described the senior national team as both the highest point and a new starting point.

Heden’s family clearly holds a special place in her football journey — after winning a Primavera title with Res Roma, she dedicated it especially to her mother, who could not be there to watch the final.
